Well the change is starting to happen. Bev and I have accepted positions with a non-profit private school called Quality Schools International, or QSI. We met with the VP in Seattle at a small evening meeting and next day interview. They had positions for us in Shekou, China. Definitely on our list of places to go. Asia was at the top of our list and China is changing so rapidly now that being and working in it should be exciting. Tim will be a computer technology teacher and Bev will be a humanities teacher at the Middle School level.
For more info on the school visit. Be sure to check out the video at the very bottom of the page.

For a personal view of the town this is what one person wrote.

This is an interesting link. Shekou is like a suburb of the larger Shenzhen. This link shows drawings and info on the skyscrapers that can be found in that city.

We are on to the next steps, both Bev and Tim have turned in resignations to the Selah School District. We are now working on our house and hope to have it on the market by mid March.
